Challenge: Amphy, a live online learning platform, faced the problem of catering to a wide range of classes, making it difficult to reach its target audience effectively. The abundance of offerings lacked focus and direction.
Solution: We devised a strategic solution by categorizing courses into two distinct sections: Professional Courses and Wellbeing Classes or Activities. Professional Courses provide higher value and in-depth learning, while Wellbeing Classes cover a diverse range of activities guided by real instructors.
Revamping the Course Component: We tackled the problem of image-based course representation, which led to confusion when multiple courses shared similar cover images. By emphasizing text-oriented components, we brought clarity and hierarchy to the course listings, helping users make informed decisions based on course descriptions and specifics.
Overcoming Time Zone Challenges: We recognized the issue of varying time zones between suppliers (teachers) and users (students), which often hindered scheduling. To address this, we introduced VOD (Video On Demand) courses, providing flexibility for learners to access content at their convenience.
