Proposaly.io is a proposal CRM that simplifies quotes, contracts, payments, and project tracking for businesses and their clients. I focused on the client-facing portal, where end-clients review proposals, sign agreements, and stay updated on project progress.
Business owners can fully customize their proposals by adding content slides, branding with their colors and logo, and embedding videos for a more interactive experience. Many slides feature scroll-based interactivity, keeping proposals dynamic, engaging, and polished.
Problem & Solution
Creating proposals is often time-consuming and can result in lost sales. Proposaly.io speeds up the process, ensuring every proposal looks great and uses AI-powered enhancements to automate and enrich content.
My Process
I worked closely with developers and product teams, conducting competitor research, UX strategy, and A/B testing. My focus was on simplifying complex workflows, ensuring proposals always look professional, no matter by who or how they were created.

● Side Menu – Quick access to key proposal elements & chatbox/activity feed.

● Quote Summary – A clear cost breakdown.

Slide Types
On the business-portal side, business owners customize their proposals by selecting from a range of interactive slide types that make each proposal engaging and visually dynamic.

Add-Ons & Upsells
Clients can enhance their project by selecting add-ons, providing an easy upsell opportunity for the business owner. These optional services or upgrades are seamlessly integrated into the proposal, allowing businesses to increase revenue while offering clients more tailored solutions.
In addition to add-ons, clients can leave tips after the project is completed, creating another built-in upsell opportunity for businesses.

The Quote
The quote is designed with clarity in mind, with a structured table format listing items, descriptions, quantities, and pricing. A total summary includes discounts, taxes, tips, and a detailed payment breakdown, supporting installments, online, and offline payments.
For readability, content is folded on mobile and desktop, expandable as needed. Proposals can also be exported as a printable ‘Work Scope’ version for a full, unfolded view.

Agreement & Signatures
Both clients and business owners can sign or approve the agreement. Signatures can be collected from one or multiple people on either side, with the option to assign specific team members or allow any member to sign.
Once all approvals are collected, the contract is automatically updated with a relevant appendix. The finalized document can be downloaded as a PDF or printed.

Payments
Payments are integrated with Stripe, supporting both online and offline options. Clients can choose from various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and installment plans, ensuring flexibility for both businesses and their customers.

Activity & Chat Box
Another key feature is the recent activity and chat box, where clients and businesses can communicate, track project progress, and stay updated in real-time. The activity feed keeps both teams and individuals informed on proposal status—whether a quote was approved, a contract was signed, or a payment was made.

QA & Final CTA
QA Section – Displays the information entered by the business owner, ensuring accuracy before finalizing the proposal. The final slide F=features a dynamic CTA based on the proposal’s current stage (Prospect→ Signed→ Paid → Tip → Start a New Project).
